Bollywood actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, who have been in a relationship for a while, are officially man and wife. The festivities began on April 13 with the Ganesha puja followed by mehendi ceremony. The wedding ceremony took place on Thursday, April 14. The baaraat started from Krishna Raj bungalow and went to Ranbir's ancestral home, Vaastu. The wedding ceremony concluded on Thursday evening following which Alia Bhatt posted the first photos from her marriage ceremony with Ranbir.
Alia and Ranbir sealed the wedding with a kiss. Alia shared the first photos. Twinning in ivory and beige coordinated traditional ensembles, the wedding photos were absolutely stunning. Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor, in a joint statement, said, "Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot - the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship - we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia."
After Alia posted pictures, Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Aadar Jain and more began to share glimpses from the ceremony.
