Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani opt to delay honeymoon plans post-wedding: Report

Actress Rakul Preet Singh and producer Jackky Bhagnani are gearing up for their much-anticipated wedding, but amidst the celebrations, work commitments take precedence for the busy couple. According to sources close to the couple, they have made the decision to shorten their honeymoon in order to dive back into their respective professional commitments.

The insider revealed to ETimes that Rakul and Jackky have opted to delay their honeymoon plans, choosing instead to prioritize their work commitments. “While Rakul will be working till three days before her wedding, she will start shooting for her unknown Bollywood film within a week of getting married, while Jackky will be involved in making the arrangements for the biggest release of his career as a producer, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan starring Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff and Prithviraj,” said the source.

 

In an earlier conversation with Hindustan Times, sources disclosed that the couple intends to have an eco-friendly wedding. The source said, “No physical invites have been sent by the couple and their family. Also, no crackers will be burst at any point.” Source further added, “These people will measure the carbon footprint generated during this couple's wedding ceremonies. They will then tell them how many trees are needed to be planted, in accordance with the footprint. It's a unique step taken definitely. The couple will themselves plant it, either immediately after the marriage ceremony or the following day.”

 

For the unversed, while Rakul and Jackky were expected to hold their wedding celebrations abroad, somewhere in UAE, the couple decided to change the venue to domestic destinations within the country. Along with that, it is also being said that the actor-producer and actress would prefer to have an intimate function. “We hear that Rakul and Jackky will have an intimate wedding in the presence of their family and close friends in Goa only. There will be no extended celebrations or reception in Mumbai or anywhere else after. It looks like it is going to be a 3-4 days’ affair like most weddings usually are,” a source had mentioned.

 

Rakul Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani made their relationship official on social media in 2021 and since then, the couple has been openly making appearances, from red carpets to wedding functions, showcasing their love for each other on many occasions.
