Prabhas starrer Adipurush made on a budget of Rs. 500 cr. recovers Rs. 432 cr. before its release

Just recently the makers of the Prabhas – Kriti Sanon – Saif Ali Khan starrer Adipurush released a new track from the film which has managed to capture the audience’s attention. In fact, the new trailer of the film received a highly encouraging response as well, despite a few naysayers. Now, we hear that Adipurush which is still a few days from its release, has already recovered nearly 85% of its budget before release. In fact, the film has managed to recover a staggering Rs. 432 cr. Before hitting the screens.

Made on a budget of Rs. 500 cr. the Om Raut directorial Adipurush has managed to draw in Rs. 247 cr. from non-theatrical revenues comprising of its satellite rights, music rights, digital rights, and other ancillary rights. Along with this, the film has raked in a further Rs. 185 cr. as minimum guarantee from its theatrical revenue in the South. Together Adipurush has already recovered Rs. 432 cr. before hitting screens on June 16.

 

Estimated that on its release, Adipurush will essentially see a massive release pattern, trade predictions claim that the business of the film will see an exponential opening collection. In fact, early business predictions indicate that Adipurush could see over Rs. 100 cr. coming in over its first three days alone from the Hindi version alone.
