Lok Sabha Elections 2019: After Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan urges citizens of India to vote

The country is currently under the election phase. Lok Sabha Elections 2019 will determine which party will come in power. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan made a rap video to spread awareness and urge the fans to vote. Now, similarity, Aamir Khan has come forward to urge the citizens of India to vote in the ongoing elections.

Aamir, who is also the national icon of Election Commission of India, shared a special message via a video and said, "World's largest democracy, one more time, will choose a new government for itself. Every citizen will get the opportunity to become a part of this process. We often forget that in order to deliver this right to vote to us, our ancestors had sacrificed a lot. So, let's remember them and take an oath that we will definitely cast our vote. For our country, we will fulfill our important responsibility. Jai Hind."

 

The video was shared by the Election Commission of India on their official Twitter handle. The caption read, "Straight from the mouth of Mr. Perfectionist! @aamir_khan, #ECI National Icon makes a passionate appeal to all Indians to #GoVote because every vote counts in democracy #MyVoteMatters #PledgedtoVote #LokSabhaElections2019 #GotInked."

 

 

 

On the work front, Aamir Khan will be next seen in an upcoming project Lal Singh Chadda which will be a remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump.
