For a young Indian star to feature alongside such a heavyweight global lineup is being seen as a major moment — both for Kartik’s rising international trajectory and for the new generation of Bollywood talent gaining global visibility.

Kartik’s International Momentum

Kartik’s selection comes at a time when his popularity is soaring. His transformation in Chandu Champion, his dramatic turns in Dhamaka and Freddy, and his mainstream entertainers like the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise and Pyaar Ka Punchnama, have showcased a versatility that international audiences and festival curators are taking note of.

Industry insiders believe this is a natural next step for the actor who has grown from a relatable boy-next-door into one of the most bankable young stars of the country.

Spotlighting Indian Cinema on a Global Stage

At Red Sea, Kartik will participate in a dedicated conversation session where he will reflect on his journey, his approach to diverse genres, and the evolution of storytelling in Indian cinema. With Bollywood increasingly becoming a part of world festival circuits, Kartik’s presence at the event adds strong representation from the Indian mainstream space.

A Power-Packed Slate Ahead

Kartik is gearing up for an exciting year ahead. His next release, Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri, hits theatres on December 25, 2025. He also stars in Naagzilla, slated for 2026, followed by the much-anticipated untitled Anurag Basu directorial, which is currently in development.
