Kangana Ranaut claims speaking against 'anti-nationals’ cost her loss of 20+ brand endorsements and Rs. 30-40 crores per year

Kangana Ranaut, the bold and outspoken Bollywood actress, has never shied away from expressing her opinions on social media. Known for speaking her mind without filters, she has often found herself embroiled in controversies due to her unapologetic stance. Recently, Kangana revealed that her straightforward approach has come at a cost, claiming that she has lost over 20 brand endorsements, amounting to a staggering Rs. 30-40 crores per year for speaking against “anti-nationals."

For the unversed, on Wednesday the Queen actress took to her Instagram handle and shared a screenshot of a headline, which read, “Elon Musk: I’ll say what I want, and if the consequence of that is losing money, so be it.”

 

Sharing her thought on the same, the Tanu Weds Manu actress wrote, “This is character, true freedom and success, speaking for Hinduism, against politicians/anti-nationals/tukde gang costed me 20-25 brand endorsements, they dropped me overnight and that amounted to a loss of ₹30-40cr per year.”

 

In her statement, the Simran actress emphasised her freedom to express her thoughts and asserted that nothing should hinder her from speaking her mind, especially the multinational corporations and their brand heads. According to her, they hold disdain for India, its culture, and its integrity. She expressed her admiration for Elon Musk, highlighting the importance of wealthy individuals not being driven solely by monetary interests. Kangana also made an observation that the more affluent people become, the more deprived they seem to be in certain aspects.

 

 

Coming to the professional front, the 36-year-old actress has a bunch of projects in the pipeline, including Chandramukhi 2, Emergency, and Tejas.
