Kajol reveals how her love story with Ajay Devgn began 25 years back

Talk about one of the B-town couples that have survived the test of time, and Ajay and Kajol will be one of them. In a recent interview, Kajol revealed how the two first met 25 years ago on the sets of Hulchul, and were dating different people at that time! But guess they were destined to be together, because eventually, both broke up with their respective partners.

"Neither of us proposed–it was understood that we were to be together. It went from hand-holding to a lot more before we knew it! We used to go for dinners & so many drives–he lived in Juhu & I, in South Bombay, so half our relationship was in the car! My friends warned me about him–he had quite a reputation. But he was different with me–that’s all I knew," Kajol was quoted as saying. She also revealed how her father wasn't initially convinced about her relationship.

 

 

"We’d been dating for 4 years, when we decided to get married. His parents were on board, but my dad didn’t talk to me for 4 days. He wanted me to focus on my career, but I was firm & he eventually came around. Again, there was no proposal–we just knew we wanted to spend our lives together," she added.

 

The actor suffered a miscarriage during the time of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, but soon had her elder daughter Nysa in 2003. Their son Yug was born in 2010.

 

Not just a blissful life on the personal front, but the couple at present also awaits Ajay's 100th film, Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior that will also have feature Kajol in a pivotal role.
