Florian Hurel talks about Sara Ali Khan’s look in Manish Malhotra’s fashion film Nooraniyat
The recent look of Sara Ali Khan in ace designer Manish Malhotra’s fashion film Nooraniyat 2021 collection has been appreciated a lot. Noted make-up artist and hairstylist Florian Hurel, who has worked with Sara earlier for other campaigns, has done the hair and make-up for her in this film. Sara Ali Khan has looked no less than a royal dream in the fashion film and she has managed to leave us all awe-struck with her looks and poise.
Speaking more on his work for Nooraniyat Florian says, “How do you create a look that stands out for one of the biggest designers in India - Manish Malhotra. First, I had to understand MM’s vision, the idea behind the film, where it would be shot - so many factors came into consideration.” Speaking about Sara, Florian adds, “Sara is the star of the film. I got the opportunity to make her look the most beautiful and outstanding lady in the world! I also had to be in sync with the subject of Nooraniyat. We worked on different looks for the film and each look got its own touch but one thing I don’t do as much on Sara is to make her look not herself! I always augment her natural beauty by not modifying the line of her face. Very less face foundation but lots work on the eye and colour that suits her the best.”
Hurel further adds,” She was in her element and loved the shoot as much as I did. And at the end, Manish was pleased and loved each look. Maybe the makeup that I do redefine the makeup of a future bride. Less with a strong touch on elements.”
