EXCLUSIVE: Vijay Deverakonda reveals what he plans to do post Liger release – “I want to take it easy for a bit”

Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda is currently gearing up for the release of his Pan-India film Liger, in which he stars opposite Bollywood actress Ananya Panday. The actor sat for an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama with his co-star, for an interesting rapid-fire round.

In the fun and candid segment, Vijay Deverakonda revealed his plans after the release of his upcoming massy film Liger. The South actor spilled beans on the projects he’s currently working on which are two Bollywood films and that he is waiting for the audience’s response to Liger before signing for another Bollywood film.

 

“Right now, I'm already doing a film called Kushi and I'm doing one more film called JJ,” he said. “Now I want to take it easy for a bit, promote the film nicely, see how it does, see how people receive it and then I’ll see. There’s no hurry.”

 

Liger will see Vijay Deverakonda play the role of an underdog boxer who makes his way to international fame. The movie will also feature a cameo of former American professional boxer Mike Tyson. Being made in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages, the movie is scheduled for release in theatres worldwide on August 25, 2022.
