In an entertaining promotional event for the upcoming Tarla Dalal biopic, talented actress Huma Qureshi engaged in a lively rapid-fire session, playfully associating her co-stars with popular Indian dishes.
During the rapid-fire round, Huma Qureshi, known for her versatility in portraying various roles, compared her co-stars to delectable dishes. With a mischievous smile, she playfully revealed, “Shahi Paneer would be Rajkummar Rao.” She chose herself for Biryani. When asked about Tandoori Chicken, Huma chose her brother Saqib. The actress chose her Jolly LLB 2 co-star Akshay Kumar for Rajma Chawal.
While the biopic delves deep into Tarla's culinary achievements, it also provides a glimpse into her personal life. The teaser highlights the profound connections she shared with her husband and family, showcasing the vibrant and joyous aspects of her existence. Tarla Dalal is portrayed as a woman who wholeheartedly embraced every facet of life with passion and enthusiasm. Expressing her personal connection to the role, Huma Qureshi had earlier shared, “Tarla Dalal reminds me of my childhood. I clearly remember how my mom used to try her recipes when we were kids.”
