Ex-couple Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande’s Instagram banter is giving fans break up goals!
Sushant Singh Rajput is in news, thanks to his film Kedarnath which is getting good word-of-mouth publicity. He has proved his mettle as an actor of substance with movies like Kai Po Che and MS Dhoni among others. While he is known for the movies he does, his love life too has been a talking point amongst his fans. He has a long term relationship which lasted for about eight to nine years with his television co star Ankita Lokhande. They broke up in 2016 after getting engaged and announcing their marriage. This really shocked their fans but they moved on post that and now Ankita is making her movie debut with Kangana Ranaut’s Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi.
Ankita is playing Jhalkari Bai who was a close aide and valiant soldier of Rani Laxmibai. She posted her look from the movie and got raving reviews for the same. Amongst all her admirers was her ex-boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput who wrote an encouraging and sweet message for his ex gf. He wrote, “@lokhandeankita it looks absolutely great Ankita. I'm extremely happy to see this. May God bless with lots of success and happiness." Ankita Lokhande replied, “@sushantsinghrajput Thank you Sushant and I wish You the same."
The two were supposed to get married in 2017 but destiny had other plans for them as they had to part ways soon after. There were many rumours about this break up. Sushant got disturbed on hearing them and took to social media to clear them out. Soon after, there was news of him dating his Raabta co star Kriti Sanon. Reportedly, he has broken up with her too.
Sushant’s next Kizzie Aur Manny was in trouble after its director Mukesh Chabbra was named in the ongoing Me Too controversy. The film is said to be back on track.
