By now, we all know that Saif Ali Khan plays the protagonist in Raja Krishna Menon’s forthcoming drama Chef, a remake of the Hollywood film by the same name. Saif Ali Khan plays a professional chef in the film and latest still showcases the actor intensely focusing on cooking as he is trying to prepare a dish with perfection. Let us remind you that in the original it was Jon Favreau who played the titular character and he was accompanied by a stellar cast of Sophia Vergara, Scarlett Johansson as well as Robert Downey Jr.

 

On the other hand, the remake stars Padmapriya as the leading lady along with Dhanish Kartik, Chandan Roy Sanyal playing prominent roles. Produced by T-Series and Abundantia, the film which was slated to hit screens on July 14, will now release on October 6 this year.

 

Chef revolves around a professional who quits his job in Los Angeles and decide to restart his life and take his passion for cooking forward with a food truck. The Indian version is also shot in exotic locales within the country which includes Kerala.

 

Saif Ali Khan, who was last seen in Rangoon, is gearing up for yet another release besides Chef, which is Nikhil Advani’s ambitious production Bazaar.
