We had reported earlier that Shahid Kapoor was shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's magnum opus film titled Padmavati which also stars Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh.Check out: It's a wrap for Shahid Kapoor's first Padmavati schedule
Shahid Kapoor will portray the character of Raja Ratan Singh, the Rajput ruler and husband of Queen Padmini played by Deepika Padukone. The shooting commenced last month and Shahid has now wrapped the first schedule. He shared an early morning selfie to announce the wrap up and captioned it, "Night shoots and morning wraps. #padmavati first sched wraps today. Loving it."
Padmavati is scheduled to release next year on November 17. Apart from this, Shahid Kapoor will be next seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's next film Rangoon which stars Kangana Ranaut and Saif Ali Khan and is slated to release on February 24, 2017.
