We all know that legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan were honoured with the National Award for Best Actor and Producer respectively for Paa. However, what were missing were images from the gala event where the duo was presented the coveted award by none other than the President Pratibha Patil herself.

Tweeting about the function, Amitabh Bachchan says, "Yours truly, getting National Award for PAA best actor 2009 from President ...". Surely one award in a long list but special all the same.
Bachchan, who has earlier won 3 National Awards, was highly excited this time as he received it along with his son, "Abhishek getting National Award for PAA as Producer by the President of India ..." he tweeted. Certainly a proud moment for any father!
