"The box office didn’t pamper this gem but this film will always be special," writes Ayushmann Khurrana as Meri Pyaari Bindu completes three years

Three years ago, today, Ayushmann Khurrana and Parineeti Chopra starrer Meri Pyaari Bindu was released. While the romantic comedy film had the old school vibe and beautiful songs, it failed to strike a chord with the viewers.

As the film completes three years today, Ayushmann shared pictures from the sets, shot in 2016. Sharing the pictures he wrote, "Abhimanyu Bubla Roy was just like me. He loved old songs, was a compulsive writer and a sucker for nostalgia. The box office didn’t pamper this gem but this film will always be special. This was clicked at St Xaviers college in the summers of 2016. We witnessed kaal baisaakhi the next day. It was my first. And I fell in love with Calcutta. Dhonobaad for all the love. तीन साल हो गए .”

 

 

Ayushmann Khurrana played the role of Abhimanyu Bubla Roy, a novelist who writes erotic horror novels. His character is head over heels in love with his childhood friend Bindu played by Parineeti. The film shows the ups and downs in their relationship with passing time. The film was written by Suprotim Sengupta and directed by Akshay Roy.
