Bhuvan Arora confirms Farzi Season 2 is in the works: "Aa rahi hai, pakka aa rahi hai"

Fans of the successful Hindi web series Farzi have reason to celebrate as Bhuvan Arora, who portrayed the loyal Firoz in the show, confirmed that a second season is definitely happening. In a recent interview with Digital Commentary on YouTube, Bhuvan provided a much-needed update on the progress of  Farzi Season 2.

"Aa rahi hai, pakka aa rahi hai," Bhuvan assured fans, revealing that the series is currently in pre-production. "The writers’ room is on. We haven’t officially announced it yet, but I think we are doing it. Everybody is busy at the moment. Sab log apna apna kaam kar rahe hain."

 

The success of Farzi Season 1

 

Farzi made history as India’s most-watched Hindi web series, captivating audiences with its gripping narrative and powerful performances. Created by the acclaimed duo Raj & DK, the show features an ensemble cast led by Shahid Kapoor, Vijay Sethupathi, Kay Kay Menon, and Bhuvan Arora. The first season, which premiered on February 10, 2023, quickly became a fan favorite, setting the stage for the eagerly awaited second installment.

 

Praise for co-stars and on-set camaraderie

 

During the interview, Bhuvan Arora reflected on his experience of working alongside industry heavyweights. He lauded Vijay Sethupathi as a “fantastic actor,” and described Shahid Kapoor as a “lovely actor.” He also praised Kay Kay Menon as “fabulous” in his craft, comparing himself to an “orchid” surrounded by these talented “roses.”
