For the recent Diwali celebrations, Bhumi served another another eye-catching ensemble from her festive wardrobe: a yellow Manish Malhotra lehenga that would be ideal for the approaching wedding season. Her vibrant lehenga included a scoop neck blouse and a ballgown-like skirt. What made her outfit stand out was its intricate tone-on-tone sequin embroidery in fish scale patterns and flower motifs, which gave it a romantic twist. This was in addition to its yellow and white colour scheme. A thin yellow organza dupatta completed Bhumi's ensemble. Bhumi's white choli, which featured thin straps and white beaded chains cascading from those straps, stood out from the crowd. Instead of wearing jewellery that contrasted with her outfit, Bhumi chose an elaborate choker from Manish Malhotra's Jewellery that was made with uncut diamonds and blue jewels to accent her yellow lehenga.

 

 

She decided against wearing earrings to the party in favour of bangles, allowing her attire and dramatic neckpiece to steal the show. Her makeup was kept in soft, neutral hues, and centre-parted open mane provided a fuss-free, quick way to finish off her appearance. The final glam options included   flushed cheeks, dewy base, mauve lip colour, smoky eye makeup, kohl-lined eyes, and sharp contouring. An outfit like hers would be a great choice for a mehandi or roka, but if accessorised with modern jewellery, one can also wear this appearance to a Diwali party in the evening.

 

 

Meanwhile, on the work front, the actress was recently seen in the movie Rakshabandhan alongside Akshay Kumar. She now has as many as five projects in the pipeline. Bhumi is currently shooting for The Lady Killer alongside Arjun Kapoor. Apart from this, she has Anubhav Sinha’s Bheed with Rajkummar. Bhumi will also be seen in Govinda Naam Mera alongside Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani and a quirky thriller titled Afwah with Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
