Amyra Dastur joins celebrity fashion league with her own loungewear brand ‘Lunar Daydreamz’

After Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, and Anushka Sharma, actor Amyra Dastur has now ventured into the fashion business with the launch of her new clothing label, Lunar Daydreamz. The brand focuses on premium loungewear designed for everyday comfort with a touch of luxury, reflecting Amyra’s own aesthetic of relaxed elegance and self-expression.

With Lunar Daydreamz, Amyra aims to create a line that merges comfort, style, and sustainability, catering to the modern generation that values fashion as much as functionality. Speaking about her venture, she mentioned that the brand was born out of her own search for cozy yet stylish clothing that transitions effortlessly from home to travel and casual outings.

 

 

Amyra Dastur began her career as a model before transitioning into films, quickly gaining attention with a series of popular commercials. She made her Bollywood debut in Issaq (2013) opposite Prateik Babbar, followed by Mr. X (2015) with Emraan Hashmi. Her performance in the Indo-Chinese action-adventure Kung Fu Yoga (2017) alongside Jackie Chan earned her international recognition and opened new doors in global cinema.

 

In the South film industry, Amyra has made her mark with Tamil and Telugu films including Anegan (2015) opposite Dhanush, Raju Gadu, Manasuku Nachindi, and the Prabhu Deva-starrer Bagheera (2023). Her versatility has allowed her to seamlessly balance roles across different languages and genres.

 

Her Hindi projects include Made in China (2019) with Rajkummar Rao, Rajma Chawal opposite Rishi Kapoor on Netflix, and Koi Jaane Na (2021) — a psychological thriller that showcased her intense screen presence. She was also part of Jogi Ra Sara Ra Ra (2022) and the political drama Tandav, marking her entry into OTT entertainment.

 

On digital platforms, Amyra impressed audiences with her performances in Trip 2, the historical drama The Empire (Disney+ Hotstar), and the recent Ranneeti: Balakot and Beyond (JioCinema, 2024), where she portrayed a sharp and confident intelligence officer.

 

Now, with Lunar Daydreamz, Amyra Dastur is channeling her creativity into fashion entrepreneurship — joining a growing list of Bollywood stars who are expanding their influence beyond cinema. The brand, much like its name, embodies her artistic spirit — dreamy, determined, and distinctly her own.
