Amitabh Bachchan confirms his grandson Agastya Nanda's acting debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies

Amitabh Bachchan is happy for his grandson Agastya Nanda, who is making his Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. It will also mark the debut of  Suhana Khan and Khushi Kapoor. In the film, Agastya will be playing Archie while Suhana and Khushi will essay Veronica and Betty respectively.

A fan made a collage which was shared by Amitabh Bachchan with the words “Agastya .. a new chapter begins in your life and there cannot be greater joy among us all .. my blessings my love and my wishes ever .. do well .. AND keep the flag flying,” he wrote in a tweet.

 

Janhvi Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, too, congratulated their youmger sister Khushi for her debut.

 

On Monday, Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar announced the film sharing a picture with a caption, “Back to the future.” The picture got reactions from Abhishek Bachchan, Dia Mirza, Karan Johar, Ananya Panday and Janhvi Kapoor among others.

 

According to the reports Suhana will be seen playing Veronica Lodge, while Khushi and Agastya will feature as Betty Cooper and Archie Andrews, respectively. The final cast isn't finalized yet.

 

The trio were also spotted on the film’s set in March, reportedly for a costume trial.
