“Akshay Kumar as Mahadev in OMG 2 is effortless and charming,” says Anupam Kher; former REACTS

Veteran actor Anupam Kher has heaped praise on Akshay Kumar's latest film, OMG 2. Taking to Twitter, Kher shared a video of himself watching the film and called it "spectacular, stylish, and a very important film of our times."

Kher also praised the film's writer-director Amit Rai, as well as the rest of the cast, including Pankaj Tripathi, Yami Gautam, and Pavan Malhotra. He particularly singled out Akshay for praise, calling him the "GOAT" and saying that his performance as Mahadev was "effortless and charming."

 

“Saw parents with their teenage children. Obviously, the film has struck a chord with the audience,” read an excerpt of his tweet.

 

OMG 2 is a sequel to the 2012 film OMG: Oh My God! The film is a social-comedy drama that explores the importance of sex education among teenagers. It has been given an 'A' certificate by the censor board.

 

Reacting to the praise, Akshay re-shared the tweet and wrote, “Thank you so much, my friend, so glad you had a good time. It’s all thanks to team effort and we’re grateful to our audiences for their unending love and support.”

 

 

 

Speaking of the film’s business, despite facing a clash with Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, OMG 2 has collected Rs. 114 crores, so far.
