After Cocktail, Deepika all set for Finding Fanny Fernandes

 

It all started with Cocktail and life is coming back full circle for Deepika Padukone who is all set to return with director-producer team of Homi Adajania and Dinesh Vijan. Finding Fanny Fernandes is all set to go on floors and for the trio of Deepika, Homi and Dinesh, who also perhaps never imagined the kind of turnaround that Cocktail would bring in their personal and professional life, there is one big celebratory shoot round the corner.After Cocktail, Deepika all set for Finding Fanny Fernandes

 

"Deepika has fond memories of shooting Cocktail and the film is very close to her heart, more so since the film was responsible for bringing a huge turnaround in the manner she was looked as an actress. Though she was established even back then, the kind of superstardom that she met post Cocktail has been remarkable no less," comments a friend.

 

No wonder, every conversation since then has included a mention of 'Veronica', the part that Deepika played with aplomb in Cocktail.

 

"Now Fanny Fernandes should be the one to watch out for," comments a source, "Though genre of the film is yet to be revealed, what Deepika is certainly expecting is a lot of fun post her return to the same crew. She was treated as a queen back then as well and now that she is indeed the Numero Uno heroine in the industry, with Race 2, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Chennai Express being super-successes, Deepika can well expect a true-blue heroine welcome."

 

"Nothing like that actually," a friend of Deepika quips, "She is too level headed and down to earth to be expecting any special attention. Her association with the team dates back to Love Aaj Kal which was another milestone film in her career. All she is looking forward to is to be back with a familiar environment and relive all the fun moments."

 

Now this is pretty much round the corner because once Deepika is through promoting Ram Leela and Kochadaiiyaan, all her time would be for Finding Fanny Fernandes and Shah Rukh Khan starrer Happy New Year.
