As her wedding day approaches, Ira Khan, the daughter of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, has been actively sharing delightful moments from her pre-wedding festivities. The latest photos to grace her Instagram are from her Kelvan ceremony, a traditional pre-wedding ritual.

Dressed in a stunning red saree, Ira Khan radiated joy in these pictures. Her choice of a vibrant red saree exuded elegance, which she beautifully complemented with floral jewellery. By her side, Nupur Shikhare looked dashing in a yellow kurta-pajama ensemble, a striking contrast to Ira's attire. Together, the couple looked picture-perfect and completely in sync with the joyous occasion. In a heartfelt caption, Ira expressed her affection with the words, “Kelvan 2! Ukhana 2! I love him so so much.”

 

 

The heartwarming photos instantly attracted attention and love from friends and well-wishers in the entertainment industry. Among the many comments, Sanya Malhotra dropped heart emojis to convey her love and blessings. Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, also joined in by showering the post with heart emojis. Rhea Chakraborty commented, “Cuties,” appreciating the couple's adorable chemistry. Actress Mithila Palkar added, “Cutus.” Notably, Ira's cousin, Zayn Marie, couldn't contain her excitement and wrote, "Omggg soooo cute you guyysss," expressing her delight at the charming photos. In a sweet exchange within the comments section, Nupur Shikhare reciprocated Ira's affection, writing, “I love you, Nupur.”

 

In a recent interview with News18, Aamir Khan confirmed that his daughter's wedding will mark the beginning of the new year. The actor confirmed the date and also lauded his future son-in-law, Nupur Shikhare.

 

“Ira is getting married on January 3. The boy she has chosen is — waise toh pet name unka naam Popeye hai — he is trainer, he has arms like Popeye but his name is Nupur. He is a lovely boy. When Ira was battling depression, he was with her. He is really someone who has stood by her and emotionally supported her. I am happy that they are so happy together. They are very well connected, they really look after each other and care for each other,” Aamir said.
