YRF signs massive licensing deal with Pepsi and Mattel

The soon to be released third installment in the Dhoom franchise has been making news ever since the release of its motion poster. Now we hear that the makers of the film, which is well over a month away from its release, have signed a massive licensing deal with Pepsi Co. and Mattel.

 

Apparently the deal which is being said to be the most-ambitious licensing merchandise programme yet for an Indian film, will explore the market in time for the year-end release of the film with more than 100 items ranging from games and toys to gadgets and apparel.

As per the deal the merchandise would include biker games partnered with Microsoft, funky fashion accessories for men, Ice X Electronics' Dhoom branded phones and tablets with content from the movie, Mattel's collector's edition will have dolls of Aamir and Katrina, Hot Wheel bikes, race track sets, UNO cards and kids apparel.
