Vikram Malhotra to start Abundantia

Ever since the moment Vikram Malhotra called it quits at Viacom18 Motion Pictures, the gossip and rumor mills started working overtime about his next job! Well, the rumors and gossips can now be laid to rest as it's confirmed that Vikram is now all set to launch 'Abundantia', an independent studio, something which he confirmed.

 

Reports have it that this studio will be driven by content-led, path-breaking cinema with names like Shoojit Sircar, Nikhil Advani and Neeraj Pandey already coming on board to direct their films under the banner. In addition to these names, a few other big names are also under the finalization stages.

Even though Vikram has confirmed the studio developments, he refrained from talking (read 'revealing') any further details as he wants to speak about the same only after the studio's initial slate is fully finalized.
