"Varun's injury is not serious" - David Dhawan

David Dhawan's younger son Varun who makes his debut in Karan Johar's Student Of The Year hurt his nose while shooting.

 

However, the injury is neither serious nor will it affect the shooting drastically.

Says the concerned father, David Dhawan, "It's just a hairline fracture on his nose. Varun is much better now. He will recover fully in a weeks' time. And he'll be back to shooting."

 

The nose has healed enough for Varun to hang around with friends. And he's in his father's words, just chilling.

 

Ronit Roy who plays Varun's sports coach in Student Of The year says the accident occurred when he was not around.

 

"Such things happen. When I was shooting for Udaan the boy who played my son, Rajat Barmecha, accidently hit me harder on my face than intended. My nose cracked in three places. Varun had a minor mishap. He will be okay," says Ronit.
