Varun Dhawan in Dharma's next

Last year, Varun Dhawan made his debut alongside two other new comers Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra in the Dharma film Student of The Year. Though many from the industry stated that Dharma honcho Karan Johar was taking a massive risk with this film, the gamble paid off and how. While Dharma recorded one of the 2012's biggest hits, the three newbies got a jump start in Bollywood. Now we hear that Varun Dhawan has been approached for yet another Dharma film.

Confirming the development, Karan stated that they will be starting the film in October. While Varun has been confirmed for the role, a new girl will be launched as the lead actress opposite him. Further he states that the film will also introduce a debutante director.

 

With this new film, Varun will now have three films in the bag, the other two being David Dhawan's Main Tera Hero and Sriram Raghavan's yet untitled next.
