Sujoy to make his acting debut as Byomkesh Bakshi

Sujoy Ghosh became the talk of the town post the success of his film Kahaani. Though the director is currently working on the sequel to the film, he has also signed up to make his acting debut soon. In fact Sujoy will be seen as the Byomkesh Bakshi, the dhoti-clad, razor-sharp detective created by Bengali author Sharadindu Bandopadhyay, in Rituparno Ghosh film.

 

The film will be an adaptation of Bandopadhyay's series titled Chorabali (Quicksand). Though Sujoy has been locked for the role, the rest of the cast is still a work in progress. The film which will be made in Bengali may be dubbed in Hindi or release with subtitled based on the Rituparno's decision.Sujoy to make his acting debut as Byomkesh Bakshi
