Shiney Ahuja sentenced to 7 years rigorous imprisonment
Shiney Ahuja, who has been facing rough weather ever since he was accused of raping his maid in June 2009, has been sentenced to 7 years rigorous imprisonment by a court in Mumbai. The court has acquitted Shiney of the charges of illegal confinement and criminal intimidation which the victim had alleged in her complaint.

Shiney was present with his wife Anupam at the court yesterday and was straight taken to jail after the verdict was announced. The actor now plans to appeal against the sentence in the High Court.
