Rowdy Rathore shoot shifts to Mysore and Bangalore

Prabhu Deva's Rowdy Rathore has got itself into a bit of a budge in Hampi. After permission to shoot in Hampi was terminated, the unit scurried to nearby Bangalore and Mysore to complete the unfinished song sequence with his lead pair.

 

When this writer contacted Prabhu, he was traveling to the alternative locations with Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha.

Prabhu tried to underplay the inconvenience and losses. "Such things are normal procedure. One reaches a location, only to find out that there is a problem…No problem! It was basically a miscommunication regarding the relevant permission."

 

When quizzed about the disrupted shooting, Prabhu tried to act nonchalant, "It's as routine as sudden rains during a shooting spell. What do you do? You run for cover. We're heading to other locations to complete the shooting. I don't know why so much fuss is being made about it. It happens all the time."

 

Incidentally, Sonakshi Sinha must be getting used to disrupted shooting schedules. Before being shooed out of Hampi, she was shooting in Dalhousie for Lootera when her co-star Ranveer Singh injured his back, putting the film back by a year. Her other film with Akshay Kumar, Joker, too has suffered its quota of delays and setbacks.

 

The Lootera producers want to build a set and complete the Dalhousie shooting in Mumbai. But Sonakshi, we hear, has no dates.
