Rani Mukerji's Mardaani gets tax-free in Maharashtra

Readers may recall that Bollywood Hungama had reported about the Rani Mukerji starrer Mardaani not only doing well at the box-office all over, but also getting declared tax free in Madhya Pradesh. Rani Mukerji recently stated that she would have been happier if the film gets a tax free certification in Maharashtra as well.

It really seems like the Gods have answered her prayers as the latest update is that the Maharashtra government has decided to make Mardaani tax free. Reports state that the Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan watched the film and announced that the film will be made tax-free in the state.
