Rahul Dev plays the villain in Freeze

Rahul Dev has been signed for Freeze which is produced by Eros international. Freeze directed by Jehangir Surti also has Neil Nitin Mukesh and Bipasha Basu in lead roles and Sophie Chodhry in a supporting role. Putting an end to the speculation of Kay Kay Menon being replaced by Rahul Dev, Surti clarifies, "We had not signed Kay Kay but were in creative discussions with him and finally zeroed on Rahul Dev." He goes to talk about Dev's character in the film, "He plays another principle character like Neil and is the anti-hero in the film." Without divulging many details about the film, Surti says, "Freeze is a romantic thriller where Neil, a photo journalist, and Bipasha, a Disco Jockey, are on the run. And, Sophie plays a cop in a sub-plot in the film." 20% of the film has been shot and it is expected to release by the end of this year.
