Pooja Hegde signed opposite Hrithik Roshan in Mohenjo-Daro

It was not rocket science to tell that the Greek God Hrithik Roshan was the perfect choice to be the hero of Ashutosh Gowariker's magnum opus Mohenjo-Daro. But the question that was playing on everyone's mind was who will be the lucky heroine who could match upto the stature of Hrithik and also suit the character's requirement.

 

Well, it can be officially said that the lucky girl is newcomer Pooja Hegde, who has now been signed up by Ashutosh to play the female lead opposite Hrithik in the film that's essentially a love story set against the backdrop of the Indus Valley Civilization.

Speaking about Pooja, Ashutosh said "I am extremely happy to have found Pooja Hegde. She is very natural as an actress and has an elegance and poise that will make the character attractive and endearing. Both these strengths with a degree of freshness adds the required spark to the 'Mohenjo Daro' love story".

 

The film's pre-production is on in full swing and is slated to go on floor in the last quarter of this year.
