Pooja Chopra accused of cheating

Pooja Chopra, who made her Bollywood debut with Commando, is accused of borrowing diamond earrings worth Rs. 5 lakhs from a jewellery store in Bandra. It so happened that on March 13, Pooja who was busy shooting, sent her stylist Anisha Jain to collect a few diamond earrings from the jeweler. As per her assistant's statements, she had selected one of it, but post the shoot, she couldn't locate those pieces of jewellery.

 

The actress claimed to have filed a complaint later and was ready to pay for all the ear rings. However, the actress later refused to do so because, according to her the police continued with the investigations and asked her not to pay until they locate these earrings.

However, the jewelers and even her ex-stylist Anisha now filed a complaint against Pooja for not paying the amount on time. The jewelers are quite miffed with the actress as she is not even ready to give a post dated cheque. However, Pooja is quite adamant about the ongoing investigations and will pay only after the investigation is complete.
