Manoj Kumar withdraws his case against SRK

Sometime back Manoj Kumar had pressed defamation charges on Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan for his satirical portrayal in the movie Om Shanti Om which released in 2008. Manoj Kumar had demanded a public apology but according to him, the makers turned deaf ear to his pleas.

 

According to Manoj Kumar's lawyer Rizwan Siddique, Shah Rukh who had assured about removing the insulting scenes and giving an apology had failed to keep up his promise. Also, the scenes which were meant to be deleted resurfaced in the new prints which were released internationally. Hence, the legendary star Manoj Kumar has decided to withdraw cases because he believes that the case failed to trigger the sense of responsibility in Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan.Manoj Kumar withdraws his case against SRK
