This will be the fourth time Mallika Sherawat will be attending the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. But this year it is more special, as Mallika has been invited to the festival by amfAR - The American Foundation for AIDS Research.

Mallika feels honoured and privileged to be invited by the amfAR as her best friend has been living with HIV for the last 20 years and she has been following the work done by amfAR. She is thoroughly impressed by their work towards the treatment and eradication of the disease.

Mallika is also excited to meet filmmakers from all around the world and watch some great films including Indian films like Peddler and Miss Lovely, which will be screened at the festival.
For the Cannes red carpet, Mallika will be wearing gowns by Christian Dior and Dolce Gabbana diamond jewelry by leading French jeweler Boucheron.
