Mahesh Bhatt to venture into TV serials

After having attempted almost all the genres ranging from family drama to romance to horror the prolific film maker Mahesh Bhatt is now all set to enter a new arena: Television.

 

Talking about his new plunge, Bhatt revealed that it is basically a family drama, which will be in partnership with the TV producer Rajan Sahi. Elaborating more on the same, writer Zama Habib (who is conceptualizing the serial) said that it's a typical family drama which doesn't fall under the typical saas-bahu genre. He added that it's a story in which the protagonist is an ambitious girl, who, despite not being the inspirational heroine, lands up becoming one.
