Madhuri's negative role in Supari:

Unaffected by the failure of CHAMPION, writer-director Padam Kumar is all set to start his next film, titled SUPARI. The film was to originally star Arjun Ramphal, but there has been a change now. The film will now star the MOHABBATEIN team of Uday Chopra, Jimmy Shergill and Kim Sharma, although talks with the last two names are in progress while writing this piece. "The film tells the story of four boys and three girls, but let me clarify, SUPARI bears no resemblance to PARINDA, SATYA, VAASTAV or ARDH SATYA. The underworld is just a sub-plot in my film," Padu states matter-of-factly. Meanwhile, Padu is negotiating with Madhuri Dixit for a significant role in the film. The role is akin to the one essayed by Al Pacino in THE DEVIL'S ADVOCATE. If she signs on the dotted line, the actress will be seen in her first out-and-out negative role. SUPARI will be shot in three schedules, of twenty, twenty and fifteen days, respectively, and major portions of the film will be shot in U.S.A. and Mauritius, besides Mumbai
