Juhi Chawla to act in a Punjabi film

Not many might be aware that actress Juhi Chawla is a Punjabi. But the fact came forth only when she signed a Punjabi film. Yes, the actress has signed a film with the Punjabi singer-actor Gurudas Mann. The film is a Punjabi-Hindi bilingual to be directed by Manoj Punj. The English version of the film titled Political Asylum is targeted at the international audiences. Punj earlier directed Zindagi Khoobsurat Hai in 2002 starring Gurudas Mann and Tabu. Meanwhile Juhi's other film Sapna Hai co-starring Irrfan Khan is re-titled as Dekhna Na Bhule. She plays a television producer in the film desperately in need of a reality show and therefore shoots a live wedding.
