David Dhawan hospitalized

Even as producer Bunty Walia was playing the perfect host in the celebrations of his wedding to Vanessa Parmar at a Bandra restobar, director David Dhawan suddenly fainted while chatting with Sanjay Dutt and Abhishek Bachchan.

 

News has it that Sanjay and Abhishek tried to revive him, but weren't successful. That's why they immediately called for an ambulance and rushed David to Lilavati Hospital. It is when the reports were taken it was revealed that David's blood sugar had dipped below the normal level and that he went into 'diabetic coma'.

Even as the doctors who have been attending to him have declared him to be out of danger, his health and diet are being closely monitored. While Rohit (David's elder son) is staying by his father's side, Varun Dhawan is expected to return from Bangkok where he is presently shooting.
