Dabur signs Big B

After companies as diverse as ICICI, Nerolac Paints, Reid & Taylor, PepsiCo and Parker Pens, he is now being wooed by Dabur India. According to industry sources, Amitabh Bachchan may now be endorsing for Dabur Chyawanprash. Dabur India is currently in negotiations with the Big B to sign him on as brand ambassador for Chyawanprash. Dabur Chyawanprash, which has a lead in the Rs 250-crore chyawanprash market, was recently relaunched in new packaging. According to unofficial sources, the contract will be signed for around Rs. 8 crore for two years. Big B, at present, is among the highest paid brand ambassadors in the market. While Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan charge anything between Rs 2.5 crore and Rs 4 crore, Amitabh certainly is way ahead of them. Incidentally, Bollywood actress Karishma Kapoor is already brand ambassador for Dabur Amla hair oil.
