Dabangg' director spells out his plans

 

Abhinav Kashyap is the the most sought after director today. The first-time director, who has delivered a massive hit DABANGG, is being chased by reputed production houses to sign on the dotted line. But Abhinav is in no hurry to grab each and every film offer that comes his way. Unlike some directors who go on a signing spree by signing half-a-dozen films the moment a film clicks, Abhinav has decided to weigh the pros and cons before signing his next film.

"I've decided to sign just one film, that's it. I need to be satisfied on all fronts before I commit to that one film," Abhinav tells me, "There have been several film offers, plenty of them. But I haven't signed any film yet. I don't believe in signing 15 films at one go."

 

Of course, Abhinav has committed to direct DABANGG 2 for Arbaaz Khan, "but that project will happen only in 2012, since Salman is busy with various film assignments till then. Which means I have the opportunity of doing just one film before I start work on DABANGG 2," the talented director states. Well, one thing is for sure, Abhinav's next project will be keenly anticipated by one and all, from people within and outside the industry.
