Bigg Boss to be made into feature film

For all, those who thought that the reality show Bigg Boss was only confined to the TV, it's time for you to think big. In simple words, the famous reality show is now all set to be made into a horror comedy based on the experiences of the people in the Bigg Boss house.

 

Endemol India (who also produce the TV show Bigg Boss) alongwith Moving Pictures (Select Media Holdings Pvt. Ltd's film production arm) will jointly produce the film. Talking about the development, Deepak Dhar (CEO- Endemol India) said that the success of Bigg Boss had achieved epic proportions, where they have seen that it has become a part of people's daily lives. He added that one of the biggest advantages is its ability to cut across people of all age groups and that they are certain that they will be able to replicate the success and recreate the unpredictability of this format on the silver screen as well.

Meanwhile, Nitin Tej Ahuja (Director- Select Media Holdings Pvt Ltd), who felt that Bigg Boss has a great cinematic potential, said that its one of the most popular entertainment properties in India, and therefore a perfect fit for them as a production house focused on quality commercial cinema.

 

While the cast of the film is being finalized and the buzz is that the makers have approached some of the contestants from the previous seasons of the reality show, the movie will go on the floors next year.
