Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's biopic on India's greatest athlete Milkha Singh, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag will be filmed in Melbourne. The makers of the film have joined hands with Tourism Victoria in an initiative to promote Melbourne to the Indian audience.

The state of Melbourne plays an important role in Milkha Singh's career as the Flying Sikh launched his international running career at the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games after which he went on to win 77 of 80 international races. Key scenes of the film will be shot over a span of two to three weeks in Melbourne.
Bhaag Milkha Bhaag stars Farhan Akhtar as Milkha Singh along with Sonam Kapoor and is produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra Pictures and Viacom 18 India.
