'Bardaasht' postponed by a week

The Bobby Deol - Lara Dutta - Ritesh Deshmukh starrer BARDAASHT, which was scheduled for release on Friday, April 16, has been postponed by one week. The film will now release on April 23. Reportedly, the producers felt that the promotion of the film was low-key and wanted to promote the film aggressively for one more week, prior to its release. BARDAASHT director E. Niwas confirmed the development, Yes, the promotion was not too aggressive. That's why the producer [Vijay Galani] took the decision of postponing the film by one week. Producer Vijay Galani seconds the statement. I want to promote the music and action promos for one more week. The music has been well received and even the action promos have caught on. Releasing the film a week later will only hype the film further, he informs me.
