Balaji to start short term media courses

India is a land filled with opportunities to learn and explore new frontiers. While Subhash Ghai's Whistling Woods seems to be facing trouble with the state government, Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures is setting up short term media courses for young talents.

 

Bollywood Hungama has learnt that Balaji will be offering 3-6 month courses with hands-on experience and training in the fields of editing, writing, direction, sound recording, cinematography, production and others. The aim of these short term courses is to allow the students to continue with their regular studies, while simultaneously developing a specialized skill set.

Apparently, the reason behind the introduction of these courses is that Balaji is keen on infusing new blood into the industry by picking and training them in the skill set that the individuals have shown excelling aptitude for. With this, Balaji is looking at grooming and tapping into a new and developing source of skills.
