Aitraaz taken to court!

After more than two months of its release Subhash Ghai's film Aitraaz is facing legal problems. Ironically, the film directed by Abbas-Mustan revolved around law and a major portion of it's second half comprised of courtroom drama. Two advocates of Jabalpur city (Madhya Pradesh) have filed public interest litigation against producer Subhash Ghai, director Abbas Mustan and the CBFC (Censor Board of Film Certification). Their complaint is that actor Annu Kapoor who plays a lawyer in the film was shown consuming alcohol in the advocate's uniform. This according to the complainants amounts to contempt of court. The court has asked the accused to file their replies within two weeks.
