R Madhavan comes on board as the director of Rocketry – The Nambi Effect after Ananth Mahadevan quits : Bollywood News

It seems that Rocketry – The Nambi Effect has become fallen prey to creative differences between the team. The director of the film Ananth Mahadevan is expected to have walked out of the film and now, Madhavan has come on board as the director of the same. The 3 Idiots actor has been exploring quite a bit in his career including the digital platform. And now he is all set to go behind the camera.

It seems that R Madhavan is keen on telling the story of scientist Nambi Narayanan and hence decided to continue with Rocketry alone. According to sources quoted in media reports, after the film kicked off, Madhavan and Ananth Mahadevan had realized that their vision about the said biopic was different. Hence, they decided to part ways amicably. On the other hand, while Mahadevan decided to move away from the film, Madhavan, who was sure of taking the project ahead, have now come forward to take up on direction.

This film will mark the directorial debut of this actor and he spoke about this opportunity on Instagram. He took to the social media to request his fans for their well wishes and in the post, he also shared the picture of the clapperboard with his name as the director.
