The Rani Mukerji starrer Hichki released well over two weeks ago in China. Since then the Siddharth P Malhotra starrer has been doing steady business at the China box office. After opening on a slow note the business of Hichki in China saw immense growth over its opening weekend. Following this, each subsequent weekend saw the collections of Hichk at the China box office grow.
Now on its 20th day at the China box office Hichki that despite new releases hitting screens still continues to run. In fact, the film raked in a further USD 0.49 million [Rs. 3.61 cr] on Day 20 at the China box office. With this, the total collections of Hichki within the Chinese market have not only managed to make it past the Rs.100 cr mark, but also the Rs. 130 cr mark. Currently, the overall collections of Hichki at the China box office are pegged at USD 18.28 million [Rs. 134.95 cr].
Interestingly, Hichki still manages to feature on the list of daily highest grosser in China. Occupying the fourth spot on the list the film looks set to continue its money spinning run. In fact, predictions state that Hichki is more than likely to cross the Rs. 150 cr mark at the China box office in the coming days. However, whether the business of the film manages to make it past the Rs. 200 cr mark in the Chinese market is a question only time will answer.
