A netizen, in what could be interpreted as a slight, asked Vishnu, "Do you know that Akshay Kumar has the most number of disaster movies?" Vishnu, who found the remark distasteful and seeming aimed at undermining the actor's immense popularity, decided to give a stern response but a graceful one. "I also know he is one of India's biggest superstars," Vishnu replied, quickly brushing off the negative comment with a respectful acknowledgment of Akshay Kumar's stature in Indian cinema. But Vishnu didn't stop there. He went on to praise the Bollywood star further, adding, "Wonderful actor. And he has got impossible comic timing." Vishnu's reaction serves as a testament to his maturity in handling online criticism, reinforcing his respect for his co-star.

Meanwhile, speaking about Kannappa, the film promises to be a visual spectacle which revolves around the devotee of Lord Shiva. With Vishnu as the lead, the film will have Akshay Kumar in the role of Lord Shiva, with Kajal Aggarwal essaying the role of Goddess Parvati. The film will also include starry and power-packed cameos from actors like Prabhas and Mohanlal. M. Mohan Babu.
