Dasara marked a significant departure for Nani, who stepped out of his comfort zone to portray a rugged, rustic character- something movie buffs hadn’t expected. Now, the South star is all set to surprise them once again, as he teams up with director Srikanth Odela and producer Sudhakar Cherukuri of SLV Cinemas for an even bigger project. Their new film, titled The Paradise, is currently in the early stages of production and promises to showcase Nani in yet another bold, larger-than-life role.
On March 3, the makers unveiled the glimpse of the film, referring to it as a ‘Raw Statement’, as the unveiled a video with an unapologetically gritty and unrefined vibe. The glimpse opens with a disclaimer that reads ‘raw truth, raw language’, setting the tone for a impactful video of Nani’s rising. As the video showcases slums littered with dead bodies, with crows ominously flying above, Nani emerges in an unconventional rugged look, where a watch is strapped to his shoes, carrying a country-side gun pulled from the water as he walks towards his people with pride. Although his face remains hidden, his muscular physique and double braids, immediately garner attention and adding to the look is his belt, emblazoned with the word HERO.
Further, a voiceover delivers the core of the story, saying, “In history, everyone has written about parrots and pigeons, but no one has ever written about crows born of the same species. This is the story of those crows whose stomachs burned with hunger... The cries of the corpses that have been walking for ages... A tale of a community raised on blood, not milk, from their mother's breast... A spark ignited that filled the entire community with enthusiasm. Crows who had once been belittled now held swords in their hands. This is the story of a rebellious young man (R**** ka aulad) who united those crows... The story of that young man becoming a leader…”

This Raw Statement hints that The Paradise will feature Nani’s most raw and intense character to date as filmmaker Srikanth Odela, who marked his directorial debut with Dasara in 2023, aimed at creating a world that is raw, gritty, yet believable. The film also boasts of an ensemble technical crew that includes cinematographer GK Vishnu with Anirudh Ravichander composing the music along with production design by Avinash Kolla and editing is by Navin Nooli. Meanwhile, fans of Nani are super-excited to see more details being unveiled including the cast which continues to stay under wraps.
While it is a known fact that The Paradise will release in multiple languages as it aims for a global release on March 26, 2026, the makers have ensured to retain the same in terms of The Raw Statement as well. On Monday, it released in five languages, namely, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, English, and Spanish as of now, whereas the Kannada, Malayalam & Bengali versions too are in the pipeline and is expected to be released shortly.
